Zax

In this brief two-issue series from 1980–1981, writer and artist Jonas Cedergren introduced readers to Zax, a lone wanderer navigating a strange, post-apocalyptic landscape. Published as an independent comic, the series is a notable early example of Swedish underground comics, blending stark science fiction with a minimalist, expressive art style. Though short-lived, Zax remains a cult artifact for its atmospheric world-building and Cedergren's distinctive, moody storytelling.
