About the series
In 2008 and 2009, Marvel published the English-language translation of the French sci-fi fantasy series Ythaq: The Forsaken World, a three-issue miniseries written by Christophe Arleston and adapted by C. B. Cebulski with Stephanie Logan, and illustrated by Adrien Floch. The story follows a group of space travelers who crash-land on the mysterious, ever-changing planet Ythaq, a world of strange landscapes, warring factions, and hidden magic. This series brought the lush, epic European bande dessinée tradition to American readers, showcasing Floch's detailed, painterly art and Arleston's imaginative world-building.
