Yozakura Quartet

In 2008 and 2009, Random House released a five-issue English-language edition of Yozakura Quartet, a manga series originally by Suzuhito Yasuda. This compact run introduced American readers to a supernatural action-comedy set in the town of Sakurashin, where a young psychic, a youkai, a demon, and a half-human work to maintain peace between humans and spirits. Though brief, the series is notable for bringing Yasuda's distinctive character designs and energetic storytelling—known from his work on Durarara!!—to a Western audience.
