Yellow Claw

In the late 1950s, Marvel Comics launched this short-lived, four-issue series centered on the cunning and sinister Yellow Claw, a mastermind of global intrigue. Written and drawn primarily by Jack Kirby, with contributions from Al Feldstein and artist Joe Maneely, the series pitted FBI agent Jimmy Woo against the Claw and his network of operatives, including Fritz Von Voltzmann and Suwan. Though brief, it stands as an early Marvel foray into espionage and supervillainy, showcasing Kirby’s dynamic storytelling before the dawn of the Marvel Age.
