About the series
A warm-hearted, high-stakes comedy where a young bread prodigy, Kazuma Azuma, aims to create Japan's national bread, Yakitate!! Japan blends over-the-top baking battles with genuine culinary passion. Originally serialized in Shogakukan's Shōnen Sunday, this Viz Media release (2006–2011) brought Takashi Hashiguchi's beloved manga to English readers across 26 issues.
