Yakaris äventyr

A long-running Swedish comic series from Carlsen/if, Yakaris äventyr ran for 18 issues between 1978 and 1993, bringing the wilderness adventures of its young Native American protagonist to a Scandinavian audience. The series is most closely associated with the celebrated Swiss artist Derib (real name Claude de Ribaupierre), whose lush, expressive artwork defined the strip's look, with scripts handled by a rotating team including Job, Ingrid Emond, and Måns Gahrton. A key European import that helped introduce generations of Swedish readers to Derib's evocative storytelling and the character's quiet, nature-focused journeys.
