Yakari

Yakari is a long-running Franco-Belgian comic series that began in 1973 with publisher De Vrijbuiter (J. Hoste). Centered on a young Native American boy who can communicate with animals, the series is best known for its gentle, educational adventures and its distinctive, warm art style. Though the initial run consisted of just one issue, the series has since become a beloved classic, celebrated for introducing young readers to themes of nature, friendship, and respect for wildlife.
