Yakari

A brief but charming series from Swiss publisher Editions 24 heures, Yakari introduced young readers to the adventures of a Native American boy who can speak with animals. Created by artist Derib, these two issues from 1973–1976 laid the groundwork for the beloved, long-running character that would later become a staple of European comics.
