Xiris

In 1970, French publisher Éric Losfeld launched Xiris, a single-issue comic centered on a sci-fi heroine. Artist Serge San Juan defined the visual identity of this brief, standalone publication, which stands as a distinctive artifact of the era's European adult-oriented fantasy comics. Though short-lived, Xiris remains a curious footnote for its publisher's bold, underground sensibility.
