X-Treme X-Men

In the early 2000s, Panini France launched its own take on Marvel's mutant mythos with X-Treme X-Men, a 35-issue series that blended original French storytelling with the X-Men universe. Written primarily by Judd Winick and Sophie Viévard, with art by Jim Calafiore, the series focused on Thunderbird and a team of X-Men navigating high-stakes adventures across time and space. This unique Franco-American collaboration offered a distinct, internationally flavored perspective on the team during an era when the X-Men were at the height of their global popularity.
