Marvel's short-lived X-Patrol (1996) was a single-issue experiment from the X-Men franchise's mid-90s heyday, written by Barbara and Karl Kesel with art by Roger Cruz. It introduced a team of young mutants who were essentially a parody of the X-Men, blending self-aware humor with the era's signature bombastic style.
