Хилда (2022–present) is a Bulgarian-language comics series published by Пурко, adapting the beloved adventures of the curious, blue-haired girl created by British writer/artist Люк Пиърсън. Running four issues so far, the series features Пиърсън’s signature whimsical art alongside scripts co-written with Ненко Генов, bringing Hilda’s folkloric encounters with trolls, giants, and magical creatures to a new audience. It matters as a localized expansion of the internationally acclaimed Hilda franchise, maintaining the gentle, wonder-filled tone of the original while introducing the character to readers in Bulgaria.
