Златно доба (Golden Age) is a Serbian comic series from Komiko, launched in 2007 and ongoing, that reimagines the early days of superhero storytelling through a distinctly Balkan lens. Spanning 33 issues, the series is most frequently illustrated by Никола Навојев, whose artwork grounds the narrative in a gritty, historical aesthetic. It matters as a sustained, original take on the superhero genre from a non-American publisher, offering a culturally specific perspective on the tropes of the classic "golden age" of comics.
