Emily Brontë's brooding classic was adapted into a single-issue comic in 1977 by Pendulum Press, with Naunerle Farr scripting the tale of obsessive love and revenge on the Yorkshire moors. Jo Amongo's moody artwork gave visual life to the tormented souls of Heathcliff and Catherine in this condensed graphic novel format. As part of Pendulum's line of literary adaptations, this comic offered a new generation a stark, illustrated entry point into a cornerstone of Gothic literature.
