Wuschel

In the mid-1980s, German publisher Bastei Verlag introduced Wuschel, a short-lived comic series that ran for only four issues from 1984 to 1985. The title character, a cheerful, round little creature, starred in lighthearted, family-friendly adventures typical of the era's European humor comics. Though brief, the series is a charming snapshot of the period's whimsical, all-ages storytelling from a major German comics publisher.
