Wunderwelt

From 1967 to 1973, Wunderwelt Verlag published Wunderwelt, a 165-issue comic series that blended science fiction and fantasy with a distinctly European sensibility. The series is best remembered for its lush, surreal artwork and imaginative storytelling, which helped define the publisher's adventurous, genre-bending identity during the late Silver Age. Though less known internationally, Wunderwelt remains a cult touchstone for its ambitious, all-ages world-building and its role in shaping continental comics.
