Wow Comics

In the late 1940s, L. Miller & Son published Wow Comics, a nine-issue anthology series that showcased a rotating cast of adventure and humor features. The title is most closely associated with the prolific team of writer Otto Binder and artist Jack Binder, who contributed heavily across its brief run. While it may not have achieved lasting fame, Wow Comics offers a snapshot of the post-war Canadian comic book industry, with the Binders bringing their signature energetic storytelling to a variety of characters.
