Aleš Kot and Matt Taylor's Wolf is a nine-issue Image Comics series from 2015–2016 that reimagines the supernatural noir thriller through a lens of corporate espionage and ancient myth. It follows a detective whose literal wolf's head forces him to navigate a world of private security firms, occult conspiracies, and identity theft in a near-future Los Angeles. Kot’s sharp, paranoid script is matched by Taylor’s moody, visceral art, creating a stylish and unsettling exploration of what it means to be human when the monster is part of the job.
