Wizard of ID

From 1972 to 1978, Coronet Books published Wizard of ID, a thirteen-issue comic series that expanded the daily newspaper strip’s medieval kingdom of Id into longer, self-contained stories. Best known for the original strip by Brant Parker and Johnny Hart, this series brought the bumbling King, the scheming Wizard, and the rest of the castle’s beleaguered inhabitants to a new format, allowing for more elaborate adventures.
