Witchblade: Takeru

In 2007, Panini Deutschland published a compact two-issue series that brought the supernatural action of Witchblade to feudal Japan. Witchblade: Takeru reimagines the iconic artifact's mythology, placing it in the hands of a new bearer in a historical setting. The series is notable for its fusion of the Top Cow universe's dark fantasy with Japanese folklore, offering a self-contained, cross-cultural adventure.
