Winnetou

In 2011, Arboris and De Boekenhalte revived the classic Western adventures of Winnetou, the Apache chief created by author Karl May, with a two-issue comic series. Artist Helmut Nickel brings the Old West to life in this brief but faithful adaptation of May’s beloved character. While short, the series stands as a European tribute to one of the most iconic figures in German popular fiction.
