Willems wereld

Aloys Oosterwijk wrote and drew this short-lived Dutch comic series for De Spaarnestad, running for just two issues in 1997-1998. Willems wereld offered a glimpse into the creator's personal vision, a standalone work from a period when many European cartoonists were exploring more intimate, creator-driven material. Its brief run makes it a curious footnote for collectors of late-20th century Dutch comics.
