Willem van Oranje

In 2024, Arboris launched Willem van Oranje, a comic series by writer-artist John Heijink that explores the life of the Dutch national hero. The series began with a single issue, offering a focused, illustrated biography of the 16th-century Prince of Orange and his central role in the Dutch Revolt. Heijink brings both script and art to this historical work, grounding it in a European comics tradition of biographical storytelling.
