Wildsiderz

In the mid-2000s, DC Comics published this short-lived, three-issue miniseries from writers Andy Hartnell and J. Scott Campbell, who also handled the art. A high-octane blend of extreme sports, sci-fi, and superheroics, Wildsiderz follows a group of adrenaline-junkie friends who gain incredible animal-themed powers after a mysterious accident. Campbell's signature, hyper-detailed style and dynamic action sequences defined the series' flashy, early-2000s aesthetic. Though brief, it stands as a pure, unapologetic showcase for Campbell's kinetic visual storytelling and the era's love of stylish, concept-driven comics.
