White Cube

From Drawn & Quarterly, White Cube (2014–present) is a single-issue painted comic by Belgian creator Brecht Vandenbroucke. The series follows a man who, after a failed suicide attempt, begins working as a security guard at a modern art museum, where the boundary between reality and the absurd world of contemporary art begins to blur. Vandenbroucke’s lush, surreal painted style brings a darkly comedic and philosophical edge to this meditation on art, mortality, and meaning.
