White Cube

Brecht Vandenbroucke’s White Cube (2013–present, Fulgencio Pimentel) is a single-issue comic that playfully interrogates the sterile world of contemporary art galleries. Through Vandenbroucke’s distinctive, painterly style, the series transforms the titular white cube into a surreal stage for absurdist vignettes and quiet critique. It’s a sharp, visually inventive meditation on the spaces where art lives and the strange rituals that surround it.
