Whisper

A short-lived but fondly remembered series from Capital Comics, Whisper was a two-issue creator-owned project by writer Steven Grant and artist Rich Larson. It introduced a gritty, espionage-tinged female protagonist, predating the boom of such characters in the late 80s. Though brief, its cult status endures among fans of independent comics from the early 1980s.
