About the series
In 2007, DC Comics revived Wetworks for a two-issue miniseries written by Mike Carey and drawn by co-creator Whilce Portacio. This short run brought the supernatural black-ops team back into the modern DC Universe, pitting its infected, symbiotic-powered soldiers against a new breed of occult threats. While brief, the series served as a focused reintroduction of Portacio’s dark, visceral aesthetic and the team’s signature blend of horror and military action.
