Weapon Zero

In the late 1990s, Semic S.A. published Weapon Zero, a nine-issue series that reimagined a classic cosmic hero for a new generation. Written primarily by Walter Simonson and Joe Benitez, with art from Benitez, David Finch, and Billy Tan, the story follows a powerful alien warrior stranded on Earth, his weapon fused to his arm, as he battles both extraterrestrial threats and his own fractured memories. This short-lived but visually striking run stands as a distinctive, creator-driven take on the superhero genre from the era of heightened experimentation in comics.
