About the series
Lee Bermejo’s two-issue We Are Robin (2016–present, DC) reimagines the Robin legacy as a street-level youth movement, not a single sidekick. With artists Carmine Di Giandomenico, Jorge Corona, and Rob Haynes, the series follows a handful of teens who take up the mantle as a collective, rejecting Batman’s shadow for their own brand of Gotham vigilantism. A bold, short-lived experiment, it matters for its shift in focus from the lone protégé to a community-driven, decentralized Robin identity.
