About the series
In 2024 and 2025, Tokyopop released Watch Dogs Tokyo, a three-issue comic miniseries bridging the cyber-hacker world of the Watch Dogs video game franchise with a new Japanese setting. Written by David Bove and Seiichi Shirato, with art by Shuuhei (also credited as Syuhey) Kamo, the series brings the series' signature digital warfare and surveillance-state tension to the neon-lit streets of Tokyo. It's a compact, standalone addition to the Watch Dogs universe that explores how the series' themes of corporate control and hacktivism translate to a different cultural landscape.
