Warlord

In the early 1980s, Spanish publisher Editorial Bruguera brought the sword-and-sorcery adventure Warlord to its readers, reprinting the DC Comics series primarily illustrated by Mike Grell. Across seven issues, the title followed the exploits of a modern man stranded in a prehistoric, mystical world, blending fantasy with Grell's distinctive, dynamic artwork. Though a short-lived import, it offered Spanish audiences a key glimpse of Grell's influential fantasy storytelling during the genre's Bronze Age heyday.
