War Mother

From 2017, Valiant Entertainment’s War Mother is a four-issue miniseries written by Fred Van Lente, with art by Stephen Segovia and Roberto de la Torre. Set in a post-apocalyptic future, it follows a genetically engineered guardian tasked with protecting her community’s last hope for survival—a sentient arsenal known as the “Garden.” The series expands Valiant’s 4001 A.D. timeline, blending sci-fi action with themes of duty and sacrifice.
