Walt Disneys ikoner

In 2025, Hjemmet/Egmont launched Walt Disneys ikoner, a Danish comic series collecting classic Donald Duck stories from the 1940s and 1950s. Anchored by the legendary storytelling of Carl Barks—who wrote and drew many of the adventures—alongside writers Bob Karp and Homer Brightman and artist Jack Hannah, the series spotlights the early exploits of Donald Duck and his nephews Ole, Dole, and Doffen. With just two issues so far, it offers a focused, nostalgic window into the foundational era of Disney comics.
