About the series
Walt Disney Scamp, published by Western from 1967 to 1979, follows the mischievous adventures of the titular puppy and his dignified father, Jock, in a warm, family-friendly world. Running for 45 issues, the series was most frequently written by Del Connell and Vic Lockman, with art by Al Hubbard, Mike Arens, and Jack Manning. A charming slice of Disney’s Silver Age comics, it gave Scamp his own spotlight beyond the films.
