Walt Disney's Donald and Mickey
Gladstone · 1993–1995 · 12 issues
About the series
Over two years and twelve issues, Gladstone’s Walt Disney’s Donald and Mickey (1993–1995) paired two of the most beloved comic-strip runs in Disney history. Each issue reprinted classic newspaper adventures from the 1930s through the 1950s, spotlighting Carl Barks’s Donald Duck epics and Floyd Gottfredson’s Mickey Mouse serials, with additional work by John Clark, Ted Osborne, and Jack Bradbury. By collecting these foundational stories in full color for a new generation, the series preserved the energetic, gag-driven heart of Disney’s golden-age newspaper comics.
