Wally and the Major

Stan Cross’s Wally and the Major ran for 18 issues from 1942 to 1959, published by The Herald and Weekly Times Limited. This Australian comic strip, primarily painted by Cross himself, followed the misadventures of its two title characters through the war years and into the postwar era.
