Walking Dead

From 2007 to 2020, Delcourt published the French-language edition of The Walking Dead, a landmark 33-issue horror comic series by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Charlie Adlard. Following a small group of survivors navigating a world overrun by zombies, the series is renowned for its unflinching focus on human drama and moral decay rather than the monsters themselves. Makma joined Kirkman on later scripts, but Adlard’s stark black-and-white art remained the defining visual voice throughout the run. This edition brought Kirkman and Adlard’s epic, long-running saga to a new audience, cementing its place as a cornerstone of modern horror comics.
