About the series
In 2012, Viz Media launched Voltron Force, a six-issue comic bridging the gap between the animated series Voltron Force and the classic Voltron mythos. Artist Jacob Chabot brought a clean, energetic style to this continuation, which saw the new generation of pilots—Daniel, Larmina, and Vince—alongside the original team, defending Arus from familiar and fresh threats. While short-lived, the series offered fans a direct, official extension of the rebooted cartoon's storyline, expanding the lore of the legendary robot lion.
