Visa Transit (2020–present, Concerto Books) is a three-issue series that follows a young woman navigating a surreal, bureaucratic limbo as she attempts to cross an unnamed border. The book, created by writer and artist collectively known as the studio, blends stark black-and-white linework with muted color to evoke the quiet dread and absurdity of modern migration. Its concise, atmospheric storytelling has drawn praise for capturing the emotional weight of displacement within a tightly controlled visual language.
