Vei (2019–present, Insight Editions) is a two-issue comic series that reimagines Norse mythology through the lens of a young woman thrust into a war between gods and giants. Created by writer Sara Kenney and artist John Aggs, the story follows its titular heroine as she navigates a world of ancient magic and betrayal. Though brief, the series stands out for its bold, modern art style and its focus on a female protagonist in a traditionally male-dominated mythic landscape.
