Vasco

Set in the late 16th century, Vasco follows the adventures of the titular Italian banker and explorer, a character originally created by Gilles Chaillet. Published by Pegasus in 1990-1991, this two-issue series was written by Barbara Janicka and Chaillet, with Chaillet also handling the detailed, historically-grounded artwork. Though brief, the series continues the legacy of Chaillet's long-running European comic, offering a window into Renaissance-era intrigue and exploration.
