In the early 1990s, Harris Comics revived the iconic horror heroine for a six-issue series that teamed writers Kurt Busiek, Tom Sniegoski, and Dan Jolley with artists Louis Small Jr., Karl Altstaetter, and John Stinsman. This run deepened Vampirella's mythos, exploring her alien origins and her struggle against supernatural threats on Earth. A key entry in the character's post-Warren Publishing era, it helped bridge her cult-classic past with a darker, more modern sensibility.
