About the series
In the early 1960s, IPC launched Valiant, a 20-issue British comic that mixed adventure, historical derring-do, and sci-fi thrills. The series is most associated with writer Kenneth Bulmer and artists Geoff Campion, Jesús Blasco, and R. Charles Roylance, who brought to life a colorful cast including the swashbuckling Jack O'Justice, the tough "Maggot" Malone, and the super-powered Captain Hercules Hurricane.
