Urban Hipster

David Lasky and Greg Stump co-wrote and co-illustrated this short-lived, two-issue series from Alternative Comics, running from 1998 to 2003. A slice-of-life title from the indie-comics boom, it captured a specific, self-aware subculture with gentle humor and a lo-fi, expressive art style. Though brief, Urban Hipster stands as a small, fondly remembered snapshot of its era.
