In the dark corners of Oslo’s underworld, Underbyen (2022–present, Cappelen Damm) follows a young woman’s descent into a hidden, lawless society beneath the city. Written by Aleksander Kirkwood Brown with atmospheric art by Luis Guaragna, this two-issue series blends Nordic noir with gritty urban fantasy. A fresh voice in Norwegian comics, it explores survival and identity in a place where the surface rules no longer apply.
