UltraForce

In 1994, Malibu Comics launched UltraForce, a superhero team series written by Gerard Jones and illustrated by George Pérez that ran for only two issues. The title was part of the publisher's "Ultraverse" line, a shared universe of characters introduced in the early 1990s, and was also featured in Wizard magazine. Though brief, the series stands out for pairing a major artist with a distinctive, creator-owned-style superhero universe during a period of industry expansion.
