Ukkie

Over four issues from 1985 to 1988, Dutch publisher Oberon released Ukkie, a short-lived comic series written and drawn entirely by Fred Julsing. The strip follows the gentle, whimsical adventures of its titular character, a small, childlike figure navigating a world of simple, surreal humor and mild mischief. Julsing’s clean, expressive linework and deadpan storytelling give the series a quiet charm, making it a fondly remembered, if brief, footnote in Dutch comics of the era.
