U-Comix Sammelband

U-Comix Sammelband, a seven-issue series published by Volksverlag from 1981 to 1985, collected the best of the underground comix scene for a German audience. Most frequently featuring the work of Gilbert Shelton, these anthologies served as a vital bridge between American counterculture and European readers. With its raw, irreverent humor and anti-establishment spirit, the series preserved the legacy of the 1960s comix movement into the early 1980s.
