Two Gun Western

Marvel’s Two Gun Western was a short-lived but quintessential entry into the early 1950s Western comic boom, running for ten issues from 1950 to 1952. Known for its rugged frontier tales and gun-slinging action, the series was most frequently written by Leon Lazarus and featured a rotating stable of artists including Pete Tumlinson, Joe Maneely, and Werner Roth. Though brief, it stands as a snapshot of Marvel’s pre-superhero era, when the publisher leaned heavily into genre storytelling.
